Help with K100 Sports Trigger.
Wed Apr 19, 2017 12:15 pm

Hello all, I acquired a Grand Power k100 Mk12 a few weeks ago, love it ergonomics remind me alot of my 1911. It's low recoil, light, just amazing.

I proceeded to make a few changes to make it suit me, sights, bigger mag release, sport safety levers, and skeletonized serrated sports trigger.

Upon disassembly the old trigger spring bent and fell out before I could see how it was installed, I ordered a new spring with my sports trigger that appears to be abit shorter..

Now that I have the skeletonized trigger installed with the shorter spring it appears I'm single action only.

Anyways could someone show me or explain how the trigger spring is supposed to be orientated and tips for reinstallation, or if I need the larger spring for double action.

Please find attached pictures of original spring and trigger, and sports trigger and new spring.

Thanks for your help ahead of time.

your trigger appears to be installed backwards, was that just for the pictures above or did you actually install it that way as well? The trigger & trigger bar installation is shown in this video, starting ~3:10 mark.

It needs the use of a capture/slave pin to keep the trigger return spring in alignment during installation. I would recommend this kind of work to be done only by a qualified Grand Power gunsmith
